ABOUT US
IBAC was organized in 1972 in San Francisco by a group of six bankers. The International Bankers Association of California reflects the global nature of financial activity in California and the United States. Economic change has been driven by globalization and technology. The organization’s audience includes internationally headquartered banks, domestic banks, securities firms, technology firms, and professionals (lawyers, accountants, consultants and real estate companies), who have regular contact with internationally oriented financial services and technology firms. We focus our educational programs on strategic, economic, regulatory, risk management, FinTech, compliance, privacy, and technology issues, among others.

IBAC is led by a Board of Directors representing firms across the United States and overseas with an interest in California.
